Privacy

Short version: no cookies, no analytics, no tracking.

What we store in your browser

Only your theme choice (light, dark or system), and only after you click the theme button. It stays in your browser's local storage, under the key sl-theme, and is never sent anywhere. Clearing your site data removes it.

What the host logs

This site and the blog are hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub logs visitors' IP addresses for security purposes; see the GitHub Privacy Statement. We do not receive those logs.

Comments on the blog

Blog comments use giscus, which shows GitHub Discussions in a frame on the page. Every post loads a small script from giscus.app, so giscus sees your IP address like any web server; the comment frame itself loads only when you scroll to it. giscus says it collects no data and sets no cookies; if you sign in with GitHub to comment, it keeps a sign-in token in its own local storage. Comments you post are public on GitHub.
